This should be good. '18 and '19 were great for her and then it seems like it has been a struggle since to find and maintain top form.As announced on instagram, Kate Courtney is splitting with her coach Jim Brown - but it 's all very amicable.
She is probably desperate to find a way onto the Olympic team and the only way that is going to happen (most likely) is by winning one of the World Cups before May 31, 2024.Yes, I think something had to change - it was no longer working, not for lack of effort. Apart from her first season at Scott-Sram in 2019, it's been a long time since we saw her at the sharp end consistently.
You do realize that it's the rider's choice. 🙄So both Junior XCO World Champions will be at Lidl-Trek.......I worry their MTB races will be few and far between. The sport can't afford to have it's promising youngsters cherry picked by road teams......
Wow!!Aren't you clever......completely missed the point I was making.......You do realize that it's the rider's choice. 🙄
The sport needs to change in order to attract the riders. Pretty sure we can agree on that.Wow!!Aren't you clever......completely missed the point I was making.......
Interesting. I wonder what most of the riders will think and if this will be seen as a positive or negativeAn important change in the Nove Mesto XCO World Cup will make it more difficult in 2024
The Nove Mesto World Cup is a favorite event for many thanks to its circuit and fans, but its organization has just announced.en.brujulabike.com
Nove Mesto XCC race will take place on Saturday lunch time.....and not Friday evening....
I can imagine some maybe sitting it out........The XCO start loop has some reasonably wide parts before the forest; overtaking is possible there.Interesting. I wonder what most of the riders will think and if this will be seen as a positive or negative
I wonder if Luca's winter training includes developing better race sense and tacticsI can imagine some maybe sitting it out........The XCO start loop has some reasonably wide parts before the forest; overtaking is possible there.
In other news, Luca 'Horsepower' has extended with Canyon CCLTV for 2024-26.......

Nope, I don't tend to follow socials. He always strikes me as one of those riders who tries to do it purely by brawn and who could benefit from improved race craft. But, that's for him to learn and explore 🙂I take it you haven't read his social media? He didn't like advice from 'experts' on the internet.......
Saying that, when he won his first XCC in Nove Mesto in 2022, his numbers were impressive; I seem to recall rumours of road teams being interested.......obviously nothing has come of it.
Interesting, I wonder where he's riding this yearSome news which I'd missed; Victor Koreztky is no longer on Bora-Hansgrohe.........
