313 points for astana in france. 3 points in rwanda. Cofidis scores 5 points in france. Im belgium cofidis scored at least 120 points with two top 15 results, while bol and teunissen for astana got totally boxed in in that sprint

226 points gain for astana, with possible big points coming up tomorrow in france and rwanda

And Wednesday in Italy definitely again. After that MAYBE it will slow down, but they have been absolutely insane. With a bit of luck today sure, but still

I've said it before. I think Cofidis and DSM are actually strong enough to score here and there, they are both only like 1300 and 1500 points behind Intermarché who have a leader who plans his baby during classic season and after that only a few guys like Rex, Rota, Thijssen, Marit, etc. who can score points. They might be in big throuble.

You'd think so, also because Bettiol looks pretty out of form. That said, Scaroni is scheduled to do the Coppa e Bartali which on this form looks like it could be another 150 points.

I think the Giro could be decent for them if they stage hunt. They've enough guys who could do well in that sort of scenario (Scaroni, Ullissi, Fortunato etc). If they make a huge dent there, they could be safe

Today so far 85 points for Astana in Rwanda and 67 more than cofidis in france. Difference at the moment 2987 points, so under 3000 now (though fretin could easily turn that around in a few minutes)

Are the 3 year point standings on pcs correct? I was wondering, cause for example sundays update was not correct in my opinion. The updated difference in comparison to saturdays standing before between astana and cofidis was miscalculated by around 25 points based on sundays results. Therefore i researched today a little bit.

As of yesterday, pcs lists cofidis for this season with 1116 points, while the official uci website lists them with 1126. In addition, the point difference when adding the season points listed on pcs (by yesterday) to the 3 year standing by end of last year should result in a difference of 2956,3, but this morning the difference was 2990. After todays result it dropped to 2966 (which is correctly calculated, as not all 36 points from astana scored today will count, since they already have more than 20 riders with points and romele who had 0 points before overtakes kajamini so that his 12 points have to be taken out), but is has to be said, that todays 24 points for astana are not added on the UCI website yet, as this is updated only every few days and are as well not added on the season team ranking on pcs

It would be really good for UNO X if Astana stays in the WT. Way more chance at guaranteed WCs without Astana than with. They could end in front of Cofidis, DSM or definitely Intermarché if they collapse.
Pretty worried about Intermarché at the moment. Girmay's 1000 points haul at TDF won't happen again and the start of the season has been awful with a mix of health issues, bad luck and, in my opinion, a lackluster race program with line-ups that did not maximize the team chances.

The difference may be down to penalties.

Intermarche are in no danger. The only team that could pass them in the 2023-2025 rankings that is currently below the line is Astana. Uno-X would need to make up another 4500 points this season and that is just too much.

Arkea will go down in my opinion and other than that it will be a race between Cofidis and Picnic PostNL for the 2nd relegation place since I expect Astana to pass both of them eventually.

Arkea probably go down but 3000 points in 8 months is still a tough assignment for them to pass both. They're giving it a red hot crack though.

If Astana can pass Intermarche then Cofidis and Picnic can do the same. They are less than 2000 points behind. If all three of Astana, Cofidis and Picnic passes Intermarche they are going down, it doesn’t have to be Uno-X catching up.

I suppose that is technically true. I just didn't see either of Cofidis or Picnic PostNL passing Intermarche. They have both been below Intermarche the past 2 years so the idea of both of them losing 2000 points didn't seem likely. They are not really in Astanas situation where they have bought a lot of good quality riders who can perform and raise their level and neither team seems to really be going all out for points like Astana are doing. I guess that could change throughout the season as teams start to get desperate I suppose.
