A no comment from UK Sport, which is pretty much an admission. But no idea why it is taking so long. If it is true that the Cat 1 rider refused the B sample being tested then that is surely an admission of guilt.

Then again in the Pellizotti case the UCI gave him three months to explain himself as well.

I think british cycling are on one hand doing the right thing, protecting riders until they have been confirmed as failed and banned, but it wouldnt hurt for them to say "two riders are currently under investigation, we will publish the results when we have them"

Between this thread and the one on veloriders, it really is extremely easy to work out!

The low level amateur rider is pretty well known, and easy to find out.

The pro.. at the moment is just a rumour. Ive not seen anything to suggest more than that.

Im keeping out of this one.. too much speculation for my liking.

BC will not want it coming out before the tour starts, to embarrassing for them and Team Sky with all the talk about 'clean' cycling in the UK

my bet is around oct/nov time

uk dope tests

all the threads on UK cycling websites seem to have been pulled ??

cycling weekly has been withdrawn

veloriders looks like its been pulled

timetrial web site who named the rider has been pulled

I'd really be interested to know why ?

I can see why a 1st year pro or older, near retirement pro but riding at that level. I hope a journo gets to talk to him.

so which one of that three is it ?

Take those three names and combine it with an earlier link about looking at Joe Papps' results and you may have your answer.

Interesting though, I thought this guy had been targeted for testing because of Rutland, not having failed a test there...not heard anything about the first race.
