TBF she said the blow was OK as long as you brought some home.
Cool - the party is in Patricks house - just say the scantily clad girls that arrive are not hookers but Livestrong "navigators".

I have to say I'm exhausted. And not sure what to make of it all. Its not an exoneration but I think its the end. We'll never really get closure on the whole issue. For me its over. It does't matter how he raced those Tours. Judging by Armstrong's statement I don't think even he knows what to say. The sport looks a little silly but its used to these types of knocks.

I don't think the USADA investigation will come to much.

I feel for Tyler and Floyd whose lives have been ruined in some way or another by all this and by coming clean didn't do them a hell of lot. Perhaps personally it freed some demons but I think the world looks at them the same.

See how I feel in the morning but I think its time to move on to a new chapter.

Unless Floyd starts releasing the photos he has been sitting on for years! But then again I don't know what any of that proves. I think the majority of people are happy with not really knowing what Armstrong got up to. Its better that way.

It doesn't matter how he raced those tours. The sport looked silly prior to his ascendance and it looked silly afterwards. Scandals and innuendo were the only things that non-cyclists could talk about. You've made enough reference to these developments to know it--you do recall that (in the US at least) it was even harder back then to explain to people that the winner of a stage race wasn't necessarily the person over the line on any given day?

I just had dinner with a friend who's a tennis pro; as many have said, cycling's issues are far less stupid than the other sports. Even as it remains underfunded and underfetishized.

Dear Jeff, I still think you are a good cop. The millions you spent have shown lots about all of us.. I hope the years looking at US Postal have revealed that winning is everything until you start losing. Landis will hit another wall soon. Tyler can tell the somber story, 2 maybe 3 more times for Outside. It's over. Let another lesser cop take this bone and try to bury it.

Jeff.SoCal, they are all there. Maybe you can meet Flandis just to look at each other and shrugggg. What went wrong?Waht about Tuesday? When will the the the grand jury ring him up?..never ooops.

Congrats Lance. You used so what.

Landis is brushing the cat litter off his head..turd. big steamy stinky mound of race car driver.

Thank god for bike racing. Another thanks to the tour and the record books.

Armstrong used. This was always the wrong way to make a case of it. Enjoy those ebay bikes. To all those drug dealers,go-go girls, traffic cops, airport guards, team mates, tax men, ex wives, cancer numbs, cycling feds, federal cops, cycling web sites thanks for letting Lance off this time

Tamales.vodka, handmade pizza. See's candy. a returned golf club covered by warr.Hostess snowballs and tickets to Teddy Thompson at Bell House.. this day can get better...not. Novitzky got a couple w your name on them..you are awesome

"The government always has a tremendous amount of prosecutorial discretion regarding whether or not to bring an indictment. In this case it appears that they have acted judiciously and likely considered all of the good works of Lance Armstrong and his foundation," said Mathew Rosengart, a former federal prosecutor who is not involved in the case.

Reporter: Lance, did you dope?

Lance: Cancer, LiveStrong...cancer cancer cancer kick cancer's a$$

It freaking worked.

throwing up at the thought of the crow some will want to feed him, i imagine. i don't think too many people saw this coming, and rr least of all.
Look at the poll made by Polish. Actually quite a lot (percentage wise) saw this coming. Remember this was not an investigation on just doping.

So in your view someone who smokes 30 cigarettes a day isn't an addict, but someone who has one or two at the weekend when their drinking is?

Yours,
An ex-30 a day smoker.

That would be they're sparky, the contraction of they are. English is a tough language but if you keep after it you'll eventually get it right.
Oh and if you don't smoke but if you drink enough you do then you are most likely drinking too much and addicted to that. Life is a ***** sometimes.

The USADA seems to think it's a given that the feds will hand over information. Will they? Usually grand jury investigation material is secret. Though I believe the balco info was "leaked" to the usada before so I suppose the feds could do the same again?

The case was dropped by Andre Birotte Jr, who has a history of backing out of large investigations. He also dropped the case against Countrywide....we all know those guys were innocent.
http://articles.latimes.com/2011/feb/18/business/la-fi-mozilo-20110219

Sure it was just a coincidence that Lance commented on Andre getting cold feet as soon as it happened

@lancearmstrong
Lance Armstrong
Reading the news regarding Angelo Mozilo.

Gotta hand it to Wonderboy. He knows how to play hardball and get the weaker man to back down. Andre folded easier then Jan

I was being sarcastic.:p

Have not read the whole thread, but this looks like a political move. Maybe they don't want to dump more money on a difficult case.

I hope that Lance don't use this thing to his benefit, with people that are not familiar (or just naive), to say that he raced clean and all that BS the he usually say.

You'd better not read the comments on VeloNews! That's exactly what they're saying!

Of course he´ll do that. There is no doubt in my mind.

Just read the linked "SF" article some posts ago. It´s just the beginning. American sportswriters are in bed with the guys they write about since long, combined with a naive way of looking at things. It´s disgusting. They re-voted the NFL-Rookie award after it came out the winner doped. You know what? They elected him as winner again. A famous player admitted doping (McGwire). Yet 54% of voters (sports writers) for the hall of fame said, they would still elect him.

This country is schizophrenic. They bring out the best (like saving West-Berlin, stopping slavery), yet they are monsters many many times (nuke away two cities, even bombing whole countries back to middle age like Cambodia. All in the name of paper dollars).

In germany, there is no doubt in my mind, Armstrong would have been convicted. A judge needs only one witness to make a verdict, when the circumstantial evidence is logic. In the Armstrong case he would have had at least 10 witnesses and countless documents. It would have been an easy call. I do not understand the USA!
