It is funny how the only "Good Friends" Lance has are famous people he has met twice.

So the rest of them should bring him down in the end. Good to know that his ex coach "Lance ends up going down" thinks the same. There is still hope...

As Coyle writes in "Lance Armstrong's War"

“There’s a pattern,” Armstrong’s former teammate Jonathan Vaughters explained to Coyle. “People get close [to Armstrong], and something inevitably goes haywire.”

Unless you are a Bruyneel, Verbruggen, McQuaid, Ferrari or higher, keeping your distance from wonderboy would be a recommended strategy if you frequent the same space.

Those two are no longer part of the fan club

Yep you can see from the Panama IM that his popularity has gone through the floor.

Listening to you guys is like watching last dance of the desperate's lol.

I spent two years listening to you guys saying how public figures were going to distance themselves from him but of course that never happened. Now I am hearing the same old refrain as another straw is snatched at.

I will predict here and now, as I did some time ago regarding the feds case, that nothing will come of a USADA investigation and also that LA's popularity will further rise now that he has proven that he can foot it with the top guys on the IM circuit. Like thehog said on another thread...take a reality check boys.

Interesting that the Tri guys are pretty damn happy that LA is now doing Tri's and IM's because they know the profile boost that will lend their sport. Of course I don't expect you to see it that way, Foxxy, RR et al.

On the contrary! Lance please continue to boost the profile of Tri's and IM's-whatever they are.:D

I do enjoy people dropping in to say how they predicted all this - I just checked your posting history, where did you make that prediction?

In fact I found this interesting post from earlier this month:

Pretty impressive since you only joined a year ago....

As for triathlon or Ironman - they can have him.

He belongs there, should never have left. Let them all be happy in Panama, Sri Lanka and wherever...

He is the Speedo's problem now.

More from Crawfish

Rick Crawford @rickcrawfish
Betsy Andreu is my hero. Need more like her in cycling. She should replace McQuaid at the UCI. Straighten this sport out right quick.
Rick Crawford @rickcrawfish C
The guys with any credibility from that era fessed up to their sins. The ones that didn't fess up are the biggest coward scumbags.

If Wonderboy had a conscience he would be worried that most people he has worked with over the last couple decades are running to USADA to beg to be a witness......but he doesn't care. Sleeps well at night.

Who could have predicted how many scumbags there are out there?

As for the second bolded part, it sounds like you're happy about that. You worship dopers? WTF is that about?

The last comment there:
"it was the year armstrong crushed the bike of leiseika four times on stage and he did not get punished.
he also rode out track and that should have been a six minute penatly as well if rules were applied."

Is that true? Is there a 6 minute penalty if riding out of track? If so, it´s just another time when Pharmstrong got favoured by UCI. I mean it wouldn´t surprise me after all.

Those conversations were in another life Maserati.

As for IM and Tri...I'm sure they will, with open arms because LA=dollars for promoters.

Maybe its just the large red font you use that makes you appear to be an angry person.

I don't worship LA at all actually, I respect him for what he has achieved on a bike and also for how quickly he has become competitive in IM (undoped) but I am sure that you won't or can't accept that. He may be an ******* but if that was a crime then we wouldn't have many sports people and a number of posters on here would be in the slammer given the vitriol that is served out sometimes.

A lot of guys on here show double standards, they fawn over guys like Ullrich but are more than happy to slag off Armstrong. I also liked to watch Pantani ride and he was doped to the gills. The guy could still ride a bike.

WTF is this? "Crushed the bike of leiseika four time on stage"? Did he bring one of those orange Orbea's up on stage when receiving his jersey after the stage and beat the crap out of it with a sledge hammer?

You guys are so far gone you are posting ramblings off of youtube comments that have been washed thru babelfish. Sheesh.

I stopped watching football years ago, right around the time I learned that there were idiots that thought Jim McMahon was a good quarterback. Crazy people, huh?:D

Now i know why you stopped watching football; b/c you have no idea of it.

Not that this guy broke 77 NCAA records, was a pro bowler (back in the days when the real idiots were not allowed to vote, but only coaches and players) and winner, no no, you know it better as seemingly self declared non idiot...

Anyway, why don´t you discuss NFL in the NFL thread? I know why: just look at my first sentence...

I have to repeat my question again, since this page is spammed by nonsense replys of ChrisE (as always) and PatrickL...

Is there a 6 minute penalty if riding out of track?
