MarkvW said:You're the one touting Lance Armstrong.
Touting definition: Attempt to sell (something), typically by pestering people in an aggressive or bold manner:
ChrisE said:Oh really? I seem to recall ridiculing the equally obsessed with seeing them exonerated, and their excuses. I don't recall wielding pitchfork on seeing them go down, but I drink alot and maybe in a drunken stupor I posted something comparable to the typical Velodude post in this thread. I don't care for TH mugging pain in front of the camera or crying on TV about his dog when the US is bombing other countries, but I digress.
You see, Velodude, I don't have the passion to bring any of them down because I just can't deal with the hypocrisy. Seeing people punished for doping when they are competing against other dopers busts a spring in my outrage equilibrium. Seeing LA get busted for wire fraud, transport of drugs, or whatever the charge du jour out of the anonymous leaks is, goes on all over the place with these teams and riders doping all over the world.
That is not to say they should go unpunished. I dare you to find a post of mine in this or any forum where I have said LA should go unpunished (except when I said it to just watch the forum freak out). But, stripping LA of his wins and seeing them go to JU or Basso does not really get my cheering section up. Seeing him prosecuted while there are much larger crooks in this country immune to prosecution, that have real impact on our everyday lives, pizzes me off a little bit as well. The fact so much passion goes into this thread to see this person fall while all of the other fiascos are going on in the world seems a little ****ed up to me, but hey whatever you guys need to do to feel better about yourselves.

grrr, legal fees
How long before he is cutting ribbons at a car dealer?
Velodude said:In summation ChrisE on another forum never at any time whatsoever bluntly criticized Landis and Hamilton (in contrast to his unwavering support of Armstrong) UNLESS ChrisE at the time was in a regular drunken stupor or acted in contrast to his beliefs on LA only for the purpose of winding up the freaks on the forum.

He likened Pro Cycling to the P*rn industry. On the outside looking in it looked glamorous, clean and healthy. In reality its full of drugs, fake performances and shocking working conditions.
Cloxxki said:On topic then. Why would it all be called off due to lack of evidence when really it was leaks? And why would an intentional coupe of the case not simply destroy evidence?

yeah right, I'm sure you will be trading anecdotes and sharing a mich ultra with mr personality
oops forgot...you get a grab bag of spandex in the deal
ChrisE said:Of course I bluntly criticized FL and TH. I wrote I criticized their crazed supporters and their BS excuses. And where is my unwavering "support" for LA? Is being aligned with you etal with his mideeds "support"? Or, is tempering my outrage and being critical of the fervor against him "support"?
Again, if you can find a post of mine that says LA should not be punished for any rule breaking or crimes, or that he didn't do any of the things you etal claim, then I will be glad to discuss that post with you in detail. Good luck with your search...you will need it.
Until then, all you are doing is throwing feces around your cage.

The investigation into GJ leaks is a whole other case, still might be ongoing for all we know. But in the end, IMO, I would expect the FDA or whoever to be cleared - also due to insufficient evidence. Although Goober might disagree with me on that.
And you lost me on the coupe conspiracy.

MarkvW said:It is also possible that the feds had sufficient evidence, but a Lance-led ninja team (who each paid $25K for the privilege) broke into the evidence lockers and destroyed all the incriminating evidence! You can't prove that didn't happen, now, can you?
Polish said:And MarkvW, the FACT that the Feds found insufficint evidence of Lance Ninja Teams is reason enough for me to believe it did not happen. Simple as that.
Velodude said:Not interested in trawling through thousands of your posts on two forums just to again rebut your claims.
Your avatar is a dead giveaway.
There was a doberman performing moderator on the other forum by the handle of ChrisH who also was an unashamed LA sycophant with an LA avatar. A cycling forum and he never rode a bike!
Strange you list your interests on that forum as "Fishing, boating, travelling, golf." No cycling? Déjà vu?
PS:
Many typos (or spelling mistakes) in your post. You once again on the turps?![]()
