As the end draws near the absurd obfuscation of the groupies increases. So sad :(

You don't really mean that. It will never be "The End" between you and Lance Armstrong.

I can see you hating Armstrong twenty years from now while Lance painfully suffers from the physiological aftermath of his years of doping. You'll be talking about his latest girlfriend, his kids, and his appearance in man love magazines . . ..

Come on! Admit it! It will never be "The End" for you!

Arguably Lance is showing great courage by stating his point of view in Mens Journal. Men's Journal has always been a platform for Lance, and like Bicycling magazines' Bill Strickland MJ had turned against Lance. What Lance has done once again is taken the public media by the reins and taken control of the horse, and by that I mean he has altered public opinion.
His interview is not an admission of wrong doing, he is throwing off the chains of the albatross, which he has had around his neck for quite sometime now.
The USAda can fight and scream, the anti Lance individuals can scream, point and tear their hair out and Lance comes out and says I don't care.
The amazing thing about Lance is how he can defeat theundefeatable and turn his battles into something positive.
Lance has a great talent for turning the negative into something positive, even in the public forum of his detractors.

Yes, it takes great courage to do what your higly paid PR firm tells you to do.

Not something the children would want to be reading. Taking pots shots at Mom through the press at the expense of the kiddes is a low blow.

Like when her own children were paraded around at the 2005 Tour with Sheryl. That hurt.

Might be the case that you have no idea what the children would want to be reading. Again, this has nothing to do with LA, but the fact that if you're concerned about childrens' upbringing within nontraditional, non nuclear families, this forum is not your venue.

Hit the streets and get active brother. There are plenty of children around the world who could benefit from exposure to your virtues and values.

Thanks for proving my point

So many big words being used around here, these past 2 days. Funny to me how on one thread someone can get rolled for bringing up someone’s wife/ex-wife and child but on another thread it is just common ground. YMMV but do not go crying again if someone brings these things up in other threads.

For a bunch of “men” who talk bad about this multi colored fish wrap being some type of wack-off dribble these same “men” are very familiar with the article inside the multi colored fish wrap written by a fish hack.

USADA has not said a peep. We do not even know where they are in the entire process. Maybe our insiders (without sources and links) can give us some critical updates in all of this.

The first thing I thought when I read the excerpt from Mens Journal on Velonation, I thought the some thing w/Fabiani, spin doctors, etc.
However, reading the soon to be middle-aged although still in the spotlight Armstrong, He is playing the media. like a fiddle, which is consistent with him since I first saw him interviewed. I think after his World championship.
Lances top spin volley has improved with age like a fine wine.
Watch the A&E Biography on Armstrong, I see the same man in the beggining to this juncture in his life.

Look at some of the great athletes, Jordan, Charles Barkley, or great politicians, Clinton, Reagan. Yes, they were produced, however they had a charisma, larger than life.
By and large they improved the quality and enjoyment of the world, just as Armstrong still does.
I know there will be an argument against this, however, I predict that Armstrong doing the Ironman will lift the tri-sport immensely. And, of course, sell a lot of Oakleys.

Why can't Lance keep his kids out of this?

Armstrong is definitely playing the media. He wants any USADA investigation story to be 'old news' before it even is news. Like the firefighters do a controlled burn to block a forest fire.

This looks like professionally managed PR to me. Expensive!

..and maybe Floyd?

A statement published on the team's website, from 'Counsel for Team RadioShack', explained: "[On] Wednesday evening, after not getting what he demanded when no one in cycling capitulated to his numerous but persistent false threats, demands and rants, Floyd Landis publicly aired the false and incredible concoctions he has been privately making for years."

The statement went on to claim that Landis used the threat of making his accusations public in an attempt to land a spot on Team RadioShack for the ongoing Tour of California. It then describes Landis, who tested positive for testosterone after winning the 2006 Tour, as "a man who has apparently decided that since he cannot be in professional racing then no one else should". It continues: "Landis accused at least 16 professional cycling individuals and organisations of activity that is baseless and quite simply untrue."

Jan knows...

Jan knows that he and his team doped a lot more than Lance and Postal.
Like Jan says - "If you can't put 2 and 2 together....."
