Excuse me if I'm being naive, but aren't all riders popping ****loads of pills? Legal ones that is. Ofcourse there is a thin line between legal and illegal, but finding 50 pills doesn't really mean a thing does it?
And if it did how can it take this long to announce what those pills were?

Sabatini is an uphill finish, and Marcato is not a real sprinter either, but a specialist in hilly courses and hilly sprints...
So Ricco' beat his own teammate who was similar qualities (except for real cols, Marcato sucks at those)

If I recall correctly, the finish of Coppa Sabatini has a quiet uphill road, and I wouldnt call a true sprint by seeing Pozzovivo, Botcharov and others in there.
Anyway waiting to see the video tonite.

I could never understand their plan to get upped to ProTour by buying Ricco!!! I can't imagine ASO want him back at the tour any time soon. Brings back too many bad headlines. Looked like a big risk signing for a team trying to get promoted to me, I'd rather have a cleaner team with no GC contender than that clown.

i might be a bit late to the party but want to add my vote to Euskatel in the Euskatel vs BMC , Euskatel + FDJ in the Euskatel + FDJ vs BMC and Samu in the Samu vs Evans.

I hope that Vacansoleil does get PT status and enters the Tour just because they make every race they enter more exciting and have a good few younger French riders like R. Feilu (B. Feilu is leaving). I understand the need to keep Ricco out of the tour though, so I hope that either ASO finds a way to exclude him or the pills turn out to be illegal so he's off the team...

theres no "need" to keep ricco out of the tour. in fact, the tour could most certainly use him to make it more interesting.

he's paid his dues just like many of the other cheats.

They chances were that they wouldn't get a Pro Tour licence anyway.

The licences would have gone to: HTC, Liquigas, GEOX, Movistar, FdJ, Euskaltel, Astana and the Schlecks.

They still will unless Pegasus buy PMcQ a holiday home on Sydney Harbour.

But Vacansoliel's hope have completely disappeared now.

Why do people still think Astana will get a licence ahead of teams like FDJ when their doping has messed up the TDF twice now? Won't they be caught by the ethical standards requirements?

I definetly do. Anton is just a failure and Sanchez well I do not even have to go there to know evans is a better rider.
