Was listening to an aussie podcast last week and they were saying the AUS team were unaware of the Vino break... that was from a rider quote though offhand can't recall who.

Holm mentioned a lot of riders thought they had cought them, even though they had been given 50 seconds to the group at the last time they hit the hill.

Boonen solo now :D

*Places cobbles on the remaining kms*

I just love how Boonen attacks even if he could rely on his sprint, just like in Paris-Tours 2009(yeah he lost that sprint, but that was because he overestimated Bozic and Bozic nearly ran him over as well).

It's a shame his attack didn't result in much though.

But yeah, Boonen is one of the most entertaining riders to watch in one day races. :)

He is fast. His problem is getting into position. This time it was nearly perfect with a bit of help from a Rabo rider

Another demonstration that after you take the top sprinter out of the picture, there are 10 guys who can all beat each other depending on leadout quality.

that was a confusing last 2 km for me :( It seemed like it suddenly went from 1500 to 500 to go.

Cavendish would have been dropped long ago already.
