Its a shame you need to pick from the all rounders and climbers. You can get a solid team just from the domestiques here.

Costa is not riding it anyways so i shall have to get rid of him. Might go with Duarte though who/ how is he going to get free.

Also interesting strategy regarding picking weaker all rounders and solid climbers. I did the opposite.

I have Zubeldia as one of my all rounders (but the other is a 20pointer), that is the only real gamble in my selections. Can't decide between two for my 4 pointer also.

I am top heavy with Nibali, Anton, Purito all in the team. I did not chose a top sprinter though. I went with Haedo. Not sure whether he will survive even the 4th stage.

Hmm, I haven't been following the Vuelta thread. I'd like to make a comeback from my poor showing in the Tour. Maybe I'll pick a bunch of riders who want to make a comeback after a poor showing in the Tour It's tough to know how they're really doing though.

How hard is this race for sprinters? Will they be abandoning throughout to go prepare for Worlds? I think I'll just get a cheap sprinter like Haedo.

I do have Anton. I only picked Martin for the ITT. Jani i think will surprise and i stated i think JVDB will win the overall.

However Wiggins might win the ITT and Nibali was just sitting there. Cav should get me at least 2-3 stages as well

Funny. Everyone said that a few days before the Tour and had all conquering teams. A week later most teams had lost 2 or 3 riders.

sounds like we had similar teams

mind you - I have decided to ditch both Anton and Purito and pick Nibali instead ... will probably come back to bite me ... but oh well.

I wish it would just start already so I dont have the chance to change my mind again

I think once you have picked them they have a tick next to the name indicating there confirmed to start.

Saxobank only has eight riders, Lucas Haedo being one of them, even though he isn't starting, and they forgot about Chris Sörensen and Rafal Majka.
