These posters have 6 more months to deal with it. It must be hard.

suspecting i can relate to them though, cineteq - that is, if such posters dread a Nibali win as much as i do a Froome win :D

anyway...bring it on. can't wait for the cycling to begin! i think Lo Squalo will be in better form than early season last year since he says he is determined not to make the same mistakes.

i dearly hope Berto and Fwoomey don't crash! (want to see Froome simply try hard and be straight up beaten by Nibali and Contador)

If Fwoomey shows his vuelta shape I wouldn't worry about him even if he survives the first week. As for Contador I'm not so sure Giro will be a walk in the park. Valverde will take care of Quintana. See, it's not impossible.

Not impossible, just improbable ;)

This. I don't think I'm a very nice person. I really want Froome to be left for dead pedalling squares.

I don't think the Giro will be a walk in the park and I hope that Tinkoff and A.C. don't think it either - complacency is probably the biggest issue they have to face aside from crashes, though.

As for Nibs., well, I hope he's on good form, because I'd like to see him beat all the others, except of course, Contador.

Unfortunately for the Sicilian, unless Vino sends his henchmen to eliminate Contador and Froome, he won't win the Tour next year, unless they do full Paris Roubaix on the third stage.

This forum - First it was that he'll never be better than Roman Kreuziger. Then it was his Vuelta win was a fluke. Then it was that he'll only ever be good enough to win second tier GTs.

This forum has a history of underestimating Nibali at every step, and each and every time he's proven the majority wrong.

Sure some underestimate Nibali around here. But, in this case it's not to crazy of a thing to say...if all the big fav's race the entirety of the Tour without injury, it is very likely that he won't win the Tour next year.

Froome won't be carrying an injury so he will be better than at the Vuelta. I agree with you on Contador and Quintana.

The only way Nibali will fail to win the TdF next year is if he screws up his training. Thus, it's NOT rider dependable. Otherwise, I believe Quintana will win.

Vino doesn't need to send anyone. You just give COntador and Froome a bike and they eliminate themselves!

Seriously, some of you should think about what you want to tell and then just stfu

You can be a nice person and want to see Froome pedaling squares. I'm a nice person and I would like to see that also :).

Tooth and nail, Alberto vs. Lo Squalo with Alberto winning by <1min would be a totally cool race for me. Nail biting, edge of the seat, best two going mano a mano=Heaven!

...with the exception of his losing the Vuelta to the geriatric Horner. I don't believe Nibali is being underestimated just that he is in a hierarchy of which he has yet to prove he is at or above the level of Contador and Froome in the 3 weeks of a grand tour. When he actually goes through a grand tour and defeats the 2 riders that are generally rated above him it's fair and reasonable to have doubts of his being superior to Froome and Contador. I would give him the slight edge over Quintana at this moment though.

he can train like how much he want, but he will never beat quintana in those mountains, and those few k's of cobbles won' save him.so it doesnt depends on training at all.

yes, i know how you feel about wanting someone left for dead, pedaling squares: guilty - for being an anti-anyone. not a proper cycling fan. immature.

but at least we admit it and don't go making passive aggressive, snide, resentful posts, right? well, not yet, anyway. we'll see how i do if Fwoomey wins TdF

Its 6 GTs, and all I am saying is that people need to stop trolling and trying to bait here. Its ridiculous. Go to Contadors or Froomes thread to debate whether they can stay on the bike and win at least 1 more TdF in their career

And all I'm saying is your post was the picture perfect definition of trolling...
Anyways back to Nibali: since it is now confirmed that he will be riding LBL...I'd really like to see him win it...would look really good on his palmares.

The geriatric Horner defeated the best of GT riders except Froome, Quintana and Contador though I think given Berto's sensational 2013 form he was smart enough to avoid the carnage in Vuelta. On the other hand, Froome didn't complete a GT against Nibali since 2012 while Vincenzo was still at Liquigas and Contador since 2011 so I don't think we can equal Astana Nibali with what he was three years ago. Things change, some people get better some get worse, the only way to find out is when they will be in top form together in a GT. Hopefully everybody will be healthy in July and we'll see the great battle. For the record, I don't rate him higher than Contador but my personal opinion is that we will never see Ventoux Vroome again.

How can you be so certain? It's as if you consider his rivals a bunch of hacks.
Or am I missing the joke here?

I really want to backtroll you right now, but i'll respect Nibali's thread this time

Have we ever seen a 3way Froobador fight in a one week race with the 3 of them in good shape? That might give some indication
