Really cool story. The Angliru was a hard day for Nibali.
Is he doing the Taiwan KOM thing again?

No, think he's off to Zanzibar for holidays. Thinking about next season, how Giro is shaping to have a good parcours for him and Franco retiring I just realized that there might be a problem with his Giro team. I can see only two riders who could fully support him, Pozzo and Caruso. Plus there's no roommate left.

How does he get along with Antonio?
Padun also had a great first year as a neopro and raced his first gt and Pernsteiner could also be a decent climbing domestique for a gt that isn't the Giro.Red Rick said:He got him a contractSestriere said:Rollthedice said:Red Rick said:Really cool story. The Angliru was a hard day for Nibali.

Mohoric should be some assistance, no? Chaos everywhere with that dude.
And Dennis could do work if they decide to use him for that. If the Tour is what is rumoured it's not really worth it for Dennis to go there either.

If it's the Tour they can also brin Dylan Teuns, the team would probalbly be Nibali, Caruso, Pozzo, Dennis, Teuns, Mohiric, Sieberg and Colbrelli (or even Haussler).
That would be a really strong team on all kind of Terrain, strong in the TTT, Sieberg and Colbrelli to proteect Nibali on the flat, Caruso, Pozzo and Dennis for the mountains and Teuns and Mohoric for attacking in the medium mountains/hills.
In the Giro you'd probably have Padun instead of Teuns and maybe even Pernsteiner.
Regarding Nibali they asked to him about his declarations on Sky, he said that if he has offers mean that is a very important rider, they want to keep him very much and the intention is to extend his contract.Lo squalo di messina said:Has anyone seen the purito interview on mundodeportivo where he talks about nibali and the future of bahrain?
Google doesnt wanna translate on my tablet so i dont really understand what he s saying.
I still cant wrap my head around the fact they dont wanna give him a contract till 2021. There are no excuses for this.

Seems just PR, probably if Nibali wants to go to Sky he'll go even if it's strange considering that Bahrain is actually "his" team, was him that created the team with his friend sheik and his agent is the general manager.
I hope the closest Nibali gets to France next year is IN THE GIROskippo12 said:Tour isn´t looking so bad if he can fully recover from his injury. Multiple 2000m+ climbs should be in his favor. Only the TTT could be a problem again. If he canreach this years Tour shape again he has a real shot. Wonder how the Giro route wil look. Has Nibali mentioned anything new concerning his GT schedule after the Tour presentation?

Could be, nevertheless it is unimaginable he will not ride the Giro.
Literally every vuelta route of the last decade disagreesRed Rick said:It's the worst GT for Nibali I have ever seen.
