Nibali riding for Ciccone is not something I ascribed to
Better ride fro himself...Ciccone is not a GT winner in my book

Nibali will finish higher than him

Looking back one can say he was like a perfect lieutenant for Ciccone all day delivering him on the fresh tarmac in the last part of the race except when the time came for the "captain" he sank with the ship.

It’s the job that’s never started as takes longest to finish.

The whittling down has begun

This is already a lot more than what he showed last year in the Giro.
Hopefully more attacks to come. Don't really care if it's uphill or downhill, or even if it works. Just want him to animate the race and be himself again.

He can't do it if the legs are not listening. Today is the first sign that something good is happening.

If he feels good and he is allowed to go with the break on stage 15... big descent from Passo Giau and even a sprinkle of cobbles at the very end. Only problem is several big mountains before that.

Nibali reduces Bernal's lead by 8 seconds. Significant. The tour was won by this margin. Only 243 seconds to gain now. Bring back the bag!
Wasn't this first time in this Giro someone like "GC contender" actually took seconds from Bernal? Par TT of course.

He continues to have a great sprint in him after six hours in the saddle. It was a bit of a long one today, but he still managed to hold on.

Trek is doing a lot better than in the last Giro. They keep on attacking and deserve to get at least one stage win before the end of the race.

It's good to see someone with a big trophy cupboard doesn't mind doing something for a younger teammate. I hope he dishes the GC completely and tries to win a stage in the final week, preferably the queen stage overthe Pordoi. That would be much better than squeezing into another top 10.

It was nice to see an old shark with a broken wrist coming to the surface from the depths, showing his dorsal fin just for the mighty armada to panic like in a horror shark movie.
