That's a very old school team! I'm pretty sure Girmay will get points, but Cav or Ewan will almost definitely bring a few hundred points between ciclamino and stages.
The thing with Vincenzo is that if he goes for 10-15 in GC then he's not worth much more than someone like Formolo or Sosa, who are less expensive. But if he does go for stages and finds decent legs, maybe he can bring some good points.
I'm going with Almeida, Arensman, Lopez, Ciccone, Cavendish, VdP, Cort, Skjelmose, Girmay in the end. So, no Nibali and no Carapaz (my directeur is Antonio Nibali though). I'd gladly switch Cort for Ulissi or Formolo but there's just no way.

Vincenzo Nibali will win this bike race. Not go for 10-15, Il Squalo will give whatever he has on whatever day, if he sees something he will go. He's under the radar. I hope that he gets opportunities. He can turn this upside down. Well, I hope. Vai Vincenzo!!!
He is but he's in Budapest and he is an objective fan not a die-hard inflatable shark owner full time bag follower like some of us. Must've been a member of the Hungarian Danube Shark Cult.
3rd at the first intermediate, the man must have dive bombed into every corner. He lost a bit on the climb, but if you had told me he would have only shipped 1" from Almeida and less than 20" from the best GC rider (and stage winner) I would have laughed at you.
A 9 km TT doesn't mean that much, but he said he's feeling good and I'm happy.
We all know disappointment is waiting for us, yet we are again unable to keep hope at bay; we all feel a slight tickle in our stomach as we imagine what adventure our Squalo has in store for us.
During all these years he proved that when in shape he can do really good TTs. The question today was how prepared he is, does he still have some of the legs of the "old days"? After packing and unpacking a few bags today I predicted a top 15. He did better.
