I have to say... Nibali won the Giro is great. Why? because, I've got a chance to get to know him more and see him more on his other side. He is indeed a nice guy and down to earth. And the fact that his gregorio Agnoli was in tears during the interview when he was asked about nibali won, just a proof how his team mate believed in him and how Nibali's calm demeanor affected the atmosphere of his team. At least, finally, wiggins news stopped! I really don't mind getting the Nibali's effect now since the Giro finished, he is like a breath of fresh air. (I'm sorta tired hearing wiggins news all year long). To see some one who's a deserving winner and deserving to be talked about finally put a lid on wiggin's news, is amen, sista'

Not that simple. Carlos Sastre has not been given his 2009 Giro podium place. Delfinos "victim" at the Tour that year, Esteban Martinez does not have the Kom jersey.

Nibali unlike Scarponi or Schleck has not been awarded cq points for that race.

Either way i dont suppose it matters that much. If you didnt get the prize money and didnt get to lift your hands do you care. Does nibali care, he was happy enough winning the overall that stage he let Eze take the stage glory.
