The difference between Nibali and everyone else is that Nibali takes time whenever and wherever he can while others speculate.

OK, so now we have a Bertie picture in the Nibali thread, I'm happy now so I can live with that.

Contador does as well..

No Contador doesn't take advantage of another rider's misfortune.

Nibali likes to do that, did that when Froome had mechanical in last year's Tour, Astana upped the pace when AC crashed in the Tour 14' .

If he saw his main rival crash right in front of him, he'd go for it and then be called a champion hahah.

Come on. This is just ridiculous. Contador attacked Andy when he had a mechanical in the TdF '10 and in last year's Giro attacked when Landa was caught behind because of a crash. Yes, Astana did the same to him a few days earlier, but the sycophantic praise of Contador even in Nibali's thread when he has just won the Giro is quite tiresome.

Also, do you really expect Nibali to stop and wait for Kruijswijk when he has distanced everyone else (the race was full on!) on the climb and when the crash was Steven's own fault? I feel sorry for Kruijswijk, but he made a mistake while trying to follow a better descender. It happens and no one else can be at fault here.

Congratulations to Nibali on a hard fought victory that once again showed his amazing grinta.

Blurry is just trolling.Don't argue with him.It is a waste of time(Note:I am a fan of both Nibali and AC )

He didn't deserve this giro, in stage 18, he blocked kruisjvick when valverde was attacking and this show that he was defeated and finished. In stage 19, god give him a present and he didn't anything to deserve that

He was so angry that SK was crushing him in his own race... this guy is a great cyclist but he has zero class

from "crushing" to "crashed" ..it's a short lexical step

Re: Nibali discussion thread

Congratulations Vincenzo.
Ofc he wouldnt have won if Kruijswijk hadnt crashed, but that was Steven's own fault and he has nobody to blame but himself. Nevertheless the "never give up" mentality by Nibali this year will not be forgotten and I think we will still talk about this giro for a long time.
