Are you saying this tour is without great climbers, or without doped great climbers?
I would expect and accept TV to climb a bit better in this TdF than 2004. If he's always been clean, he should be seen as a great climber, just an invisible one, being a pro rider.

Without great doped great climbers, but with doped climbers who were great when doped great... ;)

How about that: Everybody of those "great climbers" rode 6.4 W/KG and Voeckler cleanish 5.8 in around 2004.

Now the not so great climbers ride cleanish 6 W/KG, especially after the plasticzier indroduction in 2010, and Voeckler is still at 5.8 (not loosing time when drafting behind a 6 W/KG rider).

Then the results of 2011 with TV going for the podium do make sense.

Why are you bent on defending an obvious doper with numbers, calculations and all that? The Clinic knows a doped performance when it sees it.

You mean getting dropped, right?

I mean I'm freaking out way too fast today :D - But if he starts chasing now and wins the stage I might change my mind again ;)

I'd be very surprised if he isn't clean. One of the few riders that have an actual look of suffering on his face instead of a bland poker-faced look after struggling physically for hours.

Yesterday was the first time I've seen a rider so exhausted he could barely catch himself. It was a fine sight, if I ever saw one!

So, if a rider looks like he's hurting, it's because he's clean, not because the effort is great?

He's doping. He is a terrible climber. His climbing/riding form is a joke compared to the real climbers. Yet, he miraculously just keeps hanging in there and doesn't die. Can you say EPO??? This is out of nowhere seemingly.....yes, years ago he had the yellow jersey, but he was probably doped up then also.

Interesting how Contador without his Clen is doing so poorly as a side bar.

not bad for a B-grade team.. ????? have you EVER seen a display of poor sportsmanship ~mr voeckler? does he expect, no demand everyone in the peleton work for HIM!?
he's a discrace to the yellow jersey and what it means!

btw. i still ask how is seems to outride the entire peleton? - especially when he is a cr@p rider......

Oh look now theres 6 europcars in the chase group. L O L.

I usually stay out of the clinic, but I was very curious what the clinic thought about Europcar.
The clinic thinks exactly the same about Europcar as I do. They are the best team in the mountains... right!
