there are still some other hard stages left where others can win back time. Can't see it coming fvrom kruijswijk but maybe from someone else like brajkovic

The race jury better not nullify these time gaps. The break guys earned every second they got.

Problem is the late announcement about the stage being shortened didn't give the peloton (or what was left of it) time to claw back time.

The peloton knew or should have known that the last climb was in danger of being cut out all along.

I agree--the peloton gave the break a gap and then found out that the stage had been shortened by 60 km when the break was only 10 km from the new finish. Ridiculous.

Although, to be fair, the peloton probably didn't have much interest in chasing regardless of where the finish was, given the conditions.

so cherel new leader?are you sure, maybe jani had a gap?
Brajkovic would have to close 51 seconds on Cherel. Don't think so because the top of the climb was cut 10km lower

The decision came way way too late. This whole race has been a joke so far. Nullifying the results will just make it ten times worse though.

The judges haven't decided what to do with the stage times yet. We might find Albasini in the lead, who knows.

(Yes, that'd be unfair, but I wouldn't rule it out)
