They were 4 RB, 4 Visma and 2 Lidl in the front split, and then the bonehead wanted to go it alone, instead of eliminating Almerida from the GC.

Vingegaard naturally followed and refused to work (mostly), and with good reason.

Vingegaard apparently sat up when Evenepoel crashed, because he didn't think it was the "right way" to win - and implies he would have sprinted against Evenepoel, which would undoubetly have made him a lot of enemies

I was uaware this forum had developed into a journalistic exercise. I uses to just banter about cycling on here.

I better skedaddle again since I am letting the team down.

When someone tries to tell me why I'm saying something (and suggesting ill intent) then I usually do reply. In this case looking at the replay, my first thought was a touch of wheels-- because I have, and you probably have, been in a crash in that scenario and its remarkable how at least one of the riders goes straight to the ground. From out 30,000 ft view that was my first impression. Others posters were giving their initial impressions.
