Hope Evenepoel still goes for the day victory. It doesn't make any sense because there's no need to take those risks, and pretty sure RBH will say that too, but the winner in him should just go for it.

it looks really dangerous out there...

my voice with extreme sarcasm

It was only dangerous for their fragile egos. They didn't want Remco to win the GC today

Yeah, a win is still a win.

Even if it doesn't make sense risk-wise, he'll still ride with that World Champs jersey (I guess) and hopefully still wants to show who's the best at this.

I mean, it would kinda taint his TT palmares if suddenly there would be a 46th spot in between all those top results right? :D

He went to windtunnel testing in San Francisco, so probably changed his position on the bike too
Cian also had multiple testing at Bora and Visma. Landa did too at Soudal, but they're still mediocre.

I mean, Pellizzari was at a similar level to them. The change is impressive.

Disagree, in the first TT of the Giro last year, which was quite short like this, he showed he can ride close to the likes of Tiberi, Arensman, etc.

The second TT was also good, he was held back and was 30th or something? Vuelta one was not so good, but no Bardiani rider will ever show TT ability until they leave the team

I wonder if Noosgard has made a huge leap forward at LIDL or if it's simply because they haven't competed. His previous time trials weren't good, and now he's the thirth fastest time.

Always had huge potential in TTs. Former Danish champ and U23 WC podium. This mostly flat one suits him perfectly. And perhaps Movistar wasn't the best team in which to realize his TT potential.
