it looks really dangerous out there...
my voice with extreme sarcasm
It was only dangerous for their fragile egos. They didn't want Remco to win the GC today
Yeah, a win is still a win.Hope Evenepoel still goes for the day victory. It doesn't make any sense because there's no need to take those risks, and pretty sure RBH will say that too, but the winner in him should just go for it.
Almeida wouldn't have lost time with Castrillo and Cian today, maybe only with Romeo.Movistar must feel even more silly now they didn't try to gap Almeida yesterday
Indeed, and what Romeo showed in Mallorca he might have done well here. Top 5 or podium even in GCAlmeida wouldn't have lost time with Castrillo and Cian today, maybe only with Romeo.
He went to windtunnel testing in San Francisco, so probably changed his position on the bike tooNow Pellizzari is a top time trialist.
Cian also had multiple testing at Bora and Visma. Landa did too at Soudal, but they're still mediocre. He went to windtunnel testing in San Francisco, so probably changed his position on the bike too
He was decent last year too, and that was basically the first year he'd trained on a time trial bike. He obviously has a good engine so it isn't absurd that he'd get to a decent level on a good team. Now Pellizzari is a top time trialist.
Disagree, in the first TT of the Giro last year, which was quite short like this, he showed he can ride close to the likes of Tiberi, Arensman, etc.Cian also had multiple testing at Bora and Visma. Landa did too at Soudal, but they're still mediocre.
I mean, Pellizzari was at a similar level to them. The change is impressive.
The second TT was also good, he was held back and was 30th or something? Vuelta one was not so good, but no Bardiani rider will ever show TT ability until they leave the teamDisagree, in the first TT of the Giro last year, which was quite short like this, he showed he can ride close to the likes of Tiberi, Arensman, etc.
Always had huge potential in TTs. Former Danish champ and U23 WC podium. This mostly flat one suits him perfectly. And perhaps Movistar wasn't the best team in which to realize his TT potential.I wonder if Noosgard has made a huge leap forward at LIDL or if it's simply because they haven't competed. His previous time trials weren't good, and now he's the thirth fastest time.
