I don't speak Portuguese, but am i right that they did some changes in commentary? The guy next to Marco Chagas has been replaced by the guy who did commentary on the motor for the past years, right?

Does anyone know why?

The usual guy will be covering the Olympics. This one comments Futsal and Roller hockey.

Indeed. It's usually João Pedro Mendonça buit this year, like in 2012, Pedro Martins is the announcer (yes, he used to be on the moto). I like him much more. Clear and straighforward, no labored talk and stupid ramblings.

Indeed. It's usually João Pedro Mendonça buit this year, like in 2012, Pedro Martins is the announcer (yes, he used to be on the moto). I like him much more. Clear and straighforward, no labored talk and stupid ramblings.

I can remember for the past years Martins is also a funny guy. At least, he was laughing with Chagas and Mendonça all the time

I don't watch Sporza but from De Cauwer's reputation, I wouldn't place anybody near him. Martins is not super-good, he's just not as bad as Mendonça. Yeah, he's quite funny.

Well, humor is maybe more important then actual cycling knowledge. Worser then Kirby is not possible anyway

Oh man you'd love Mendonça...He's our very own Kirby come think of it. Chagas is sorta like Kelly come think of it. Talks a bit more maybe, I don't really mind him. But Mendonça is just so blatantly obnoxious that I'll avoid RTP at all costs just so I don't have to listen to him. And yes, I'd take Kirby over him.
