Kragh only two seconds behind Küng.

So close to getting Sunweb out of that important competition.

It's the French rivalry. The Groupama riders wouldn't allow AG2R to win that competition :D

Scientific methods of Dr. Swart are working, except for Aru.

But damn, look at Stybar among all those climbers in the gc :D
In the last four years he finished three times in the top 20 of the GC here, if he's going to lose 1'30"/2'00" tomorrow ending up around 15th place will be pretty normal for him.

Today was the first time in his entire career that he finished in the top 10 of an individual time trial that wasn't the Czech National Championships!

Quite impressive that that happens in such a relatively strong field.

Stefan Küng: If youre en shape, youre in shape.

What a genius

He had probably been asked a silly question of whether his showing today also meant he would be good in the classics. If that's the case, I think it's a pretty good answer.

Is Pogacar the new Evenepoel?!

Seems we've been hyping the wrong rider! :D Definitely one to watch. Chapeau to Kung & FDJ for the win!

Saturday's stage 4 ALBUFEIRA / TAVIRA – 198,3 km 23/02/2019

Sprint finish, I'd suspect, but there's a roundabout then a 90 degree right hand bend in the last km. so positioning will be crucial.

Stage 4 starts at 12:00pm local (Lisbon time)
(7:00am U.S. Eastern)

Finish at around 5:07pm local
(12:07pm U.S. Eastern)

Live video from 3:45pm local
(10:45am U.S. Eastern)

(edit - right not left bend)

Some fine pulling from the trains...

Best placed, I think, and executed perfectly.
Congrats to Groenewegen.

Still going with my initial pick for this race, Enric Mas. At least for the stage.
