Big crash splitting the peloton right before Alpecin and a few other teams decided to up the pace in some cross wind sections.Wait i thought this was going to be a boring bunch sprint, i tune in and there's 40 guys left. What happened?

When you see the gap created by Remco and the face of Lampaert in his wheel you can clearly question the team strategy to "risk a sprint" when Remco seems to be able to pull a "Vinokourov on les Champs Elysées" at each sprint stage...One of these days Quickstep will let the wheel go and Remco will win what was meant to be a sprint stage.
Baroncini's pace was impressive. His intelligence less so.
