Someone is going to need to do a "Miguel Contador" from the 2015 Giro TT (which is the reason we no longer have proper ITTs any more) to have a chance to beat Evenepoel here

If Reis is in the same kind of shape he was last year when he almost beat Asgreen in the TT he'll leave many bigger names behind him. Sadly no Moreira and Carvalho, but W52 bring a strong team with Jose Neves, Antunes and Ze Goncalves, who is back in Portugal.

Big crash splitting the peloton right before Alpecin and a few other teams decided to up the pace in some cross wind sections.

I don't know who the Trek rider was and what he was trying to achieve, but the speed at which he came to the front while Politt and others were struggling to close the gap was quite something.

Baroncini bombing around really complicated things, that leadout looked like it seriously hurt, Lampaert(?) was on the front so early

He had some pace but had completely mistimed what I assumed was a late dart as he hit a roundabout straight away.

Remco pulls are so hard it tires every one out, because the guys on his wheel are barely holding on. Theres no advantage being on his wheel. You have to pull just as hard just to be able to stay on his wheel. Some power the guy has, and his low position on the bike just leaves the rider behind exposed.

Remco still had to close the gap after his work was done. Super strong today, but the work he had to do might have cost some energy after the lead-out just to hold the group together.
