LIYF hit back at me because I'm overcritical of the little brat supposed climbing prowess but this time he was even worse than my expectations. Anyway i wonder why people call him "Belgian Spilak" when Spilak in his days was able to climb in way Evenepoel can't even dream of.
I "hit back" at you? Lol. The fact that you find the need to keep calling him "the little brat" in an aggressive derogatory way is telling, and "people" don't call him the Belgian Spilak, there's only one troll who does, and he thinks Masnada is the best cyclist since Merckx. Anyway, you're going on ignore.

Yes, you hit back and not only at me but at everyone every single time something is written regarding him, everywhere in the forum like a personal crusade in his favour, last year after the Giro I even stopped writing in his thread after you complained I was coming there only to criticize but it's no use. Anyway I call him this way because he looks like an arrogant *** both in interviews and in attitude during and after the races.

Any idea how the wind can influence this race? Wind forecast is 15-41kph coming from the North. Looking at the route +-5km should be headwind, +-10km sidewind, and +-15km tailwind. Is it in favor of some specific rider profiles?

A windy day should favor short, aero riders on small bikes. That sounds like Remco to me.

Actually windy TTs tend favour heavier riders (especially head-wind). See the final TT during 2010 TdF. Andy Schleck sensationally almost matched Contador and Grabsch was the shortest rider in the top10 with 179 cm, the 2nd shortest rider was 183 cm.
More massive riders have an easier time fighting against air drag and the mass of a rider rises quicker than his frontal surface which is what induces drag.

I‘d say: Küng and Remco both want to win this ITT. It‘s gonna be close.

If Küng wins, Küng will be happy. If Remco wins, Remco will be happy.

I honestly cannot imagine another winner than these two…

Wouldn't read too much into that as evidence. Contador just did a bad ITT.

At the WC, Evenepoels best split was the headwind split. He's just that aero.

If procyclingstats.com is right the best speeds for first and second intermediary were 44kph and 42kph.... Difficult ITT indeed.

Hoole is apparently 1'14" faster than Thomas at T2
That power we've seen in stage 1 is coming handy today!
