Am I the only one who just can't get excited for this race? Not because of the field but just because somehow this race just has something crappy to it. Bad tv coverage, boring routes, flat stages which go over boring looking highways. The racing in the medium mountain stages is usually not very good. This race all in all just doesn't have a good atmosphere
It's just a level below the other spring stage races like PV, PN, TA, romandie

He's @11 for a top-3 at Unibet, so they think he has very little chance.

Allegedly Chaves and A.Yates were in tip top shape for TA and PN, while the team were hoping with S.Yates - As it turned out Yates x2 were very good while Chaves struggled with the cold at PN - Anyway MS have cards to play - A minimum should be winning a stage and top 3 on GC.

I'm excited for it. The route and field are fine to me and I don't care much about scenery when watching a race. That said, poor coverage is definitely a turn off and causes me to lose interest but we'll see how it goes this year.

Same for me. It's one of those race I barely follow and where I can't remember any details of previous editions. This spot in the calender belonged to the Setmana Catalana. Bring it back and let the Volta get its old May spot back.

Bora failed again. They were in a great position with 1 km to go but started way to late. Finishing 2nd and 3rd is great but for whatever reason Benetts leadout decided to go for the win instead of helping him.
