Overall some good stages, but quite a disappointing race GC wise.

Valverde was too good anyway, but he didn't face that much competition. And when he did, they fell away (Bernal).

His start been awful this season. Both P-N and this stage race been very disappointing.

His Paris-Nice was very good. Better than ever at this point of the season.

He never raced P-N before this year? And he did not finish... and was far behind in GC for his caliber before the last stage.

He was 63 in GC here, before this stage.

I would not say that is "better than ever at this point of the season" ...

Be told Chaves is in form - His PN was bad because he crashed and suffered from injuries and the cold - S.Yates was the leader for this race and Chaves was in training.

Both Yates bros seem very good this year. And Soler and Latour have impressed me here as well. And Bernal too of course. What a shame he crashed. Hope it's not too bad.

I had Latour top-3 @51, so I'm quite happy with Yates celebrating 10 metres early.
Pity for Bernal though. Didn't deserve this.

Not really. They were clearly the best 2 in the race, but Bernal was never gonna trouble Valverde.

Nice race overall with some exciting stages. Too bad about Bernal. He was never going to win, but he would have been on the podium. Impressive from both Letour and Soler.
