Indeed I could give up my almost unused shimano blue cleats for Froome going for some stages and GC podium. Win is a podium too, people!

Well, the descent is not very technical, with wide roads and long straights, but there are some exposed areas that may be tricky with the wind.

Yes, Samu won in Eibar three years in a row (2010-12) and crashed out on the stage in 2017.

Obvious favourites for the stage are Roglic and Valverde, but if they start staring at each other I can see someone like Formolo, Poels, D. Martin or D. Martinez run away with it.

Bala and Martin are good enough to stay up there but I fear both have lost that killer acceleration
