I can just see it now, Froome doing one of his usual high cadence attacks whilst Horner follows casually getting out of the saddle smiling at the camera's! :D

It would be the greatest day for the clinic. I hope it comes true.

I guess Betancur could manage to show up.

I can almost guarantee you Contador won't be there, despite what he said earlier this year. And if he starts, he won't be worth anything. He'll be completely knackered after the Tour. ;)
He will be there ,he will take it easy, lthose ast few days of Tour:p

What happens to Froome? This is an interesting question given Wiggins/Froome drama.

Uran should be on the short list.

Well after what we've read tonight I guess it depends on how quickly Froome can heal. I agree about Uran if he gets back into Giro form he could podium again.

If he is able to train again in a few weeks properly why shouldn't he also be able to ride the Vuelta in good shape? He also has an open check with La Vuelta from 2011!

Too bad they've decreased the uphill finishes now!

Froome and Contador will go totally loco and attack on every wall. Stop, go, stop, go!

Quintana also in the mix. Hopefully in top shape and he's an attacke too.

Purito might sprint for every bonus second he could get uphill.

Horner maybe in last years form again will just keep calm and ride his own superb rhythm. Hopefully Basso style again

Pozzovivo could easily conjure another great short tt performance. In that case he's also in the mix.

That sounds just magic. And it will happen. No way Froome and Contador won't attack on and on in Spain.

Viva España!!!

Let's blast the hype past the stratosphere!

We're about to witness the greatest GT of all time. 8.0 W/kg, every climb record that exist destroyed, day after day of 100 Km's or more of nonstop action!

Froome, Contador, Purito, Quintana, Aru, And Valverde will make this the most attacking race of all time. And turn it into a 3 week long classic, action wise. Throw some jokers in Pozzovivo, Ryder, Kelderman, Horner, and others in and we have riders that will be bent on the sole purpose of making the top guys feel the hurt. It will be a battle for the ages, a battle of epic proportion, a battle that will echo across the universe and be talked about hundreds of years from now as the greatest moments we ever witnessed in our lives. The 2014 Vuelta will be remembered as the greatest race of all time and ruin every other race to come after it for that very reason. But the Vuelta will have been so mind boggling epic, that no one will care. It will decide once and for all who the greatest rider of all time is. Get ready for long range attacks, full force accelerations, and performances the likes we have never seen before or will see again. Get ready for epicness!!!!!!!!!!!!

Too far? :D

Don't get hyped too early. Contador is prob 6 weeks out but we know how cyclist are. He might be back on the bike in 3 weeks, i wouldn't be surprised.

Contador won't be there IMHO.

The injury seems to be bad.:(

the media is saying it is not the worst fracture, but who knows. He also needs training though. He can't arrive Vuelta without any training.

Contador's injury is bad and he'll be bent out of shape to even consider the Vuelta. He's not one who enters races to soft pedal as an exhibitionist, especially not his mother country. Either he races hard or not at all. Afraid we might have seen the end of Contador's domination. Something like this has a huge psychological toll & he isn't getting any younger.
