They have lost TDF TTT by less than a second.Dekker_Tifosi said:Damn, Quick Step always on the right side of the split
But you have to show up in the first place and he chose not to. Which I still dont understand because, who cares that much about the Worlds ITT? A Vuelta is worth much more IMO.Red Rick said:I have little doubt he could have.bob.a.feet said:Even though Dumoulin is going really well and might win the Worlds, I still feel that he could have won VueltaDekker_Tifosi said:What a blast of a time by Sunweb.
Kelderman will be happy.
I think he will be happy enough with that.Dekker_Tifosi said:Nibali loses +25 seconds
Dumoulin is obsessed about the worlds itt for years. Yet always let something else come in between causing him to be off-form. Vuelta 2015, last year olympics (he couldn't peak again) and didn't want to take that risk i thinkValv.Piti said:But you have to show up in the first place and he chose not to. Timer starts when the team/rider starts in a TT, it is not fixed for a specific time

Because he has spent the majority of his career as a specialist TTer and hasn't yet won the largest distinguishment for a TTer.Valv.Piti said:But you have to show up in the first place and he chose not to. So you mean they have changed the rules since '89?

Don't think so. They're at the Vuelta with a very unexperienced and young team.
Well so far, I have to take back my words. Great ride by Sunweb.
Don't think they will be happy with this though. LottoNL spent a lot of time on their time trial and team time trial stuff.Gigs_98 said:Great time for lotto NL considering their crash

Actually the more I think about it, do you have a source for that burning? I'm not entirely convinced they do.
roundabout said:2.4.013 The start may be determined by the front tyre making contact with an electronic timing
strip on the start line. If the rider starts fractionally before the countdown reaches 0 or in
the following 5 seconds the time it is triggered is used. If the rider starts after this 5
second delay has elapsed or in the event of problems with the electronic timing, the
rider's time shall be counted as from the start of manual timing following the countdown.

You end up losing riders, even GT contenders, because of corners.. Do you want to test a rider or a team, don't make it technical from the get go
