It was bizarre - he had the legs to defend every attack on the way up, but never attacked himself and died in the last 200m

Never underestimate their tactical ineptitude.

Their tactics kept Quintana from loosing more time than he should have.

To think that Quintana could have taken anything today is to ignore the downswing he is on.

Can the UCI please ban Kruijswijk for life? He's constantly working for other teams. Either he's the dumbest cyclist in existence or he's being paid off. He also made sure Froome made the podium at the Tour this year, at the cost of his own team-mate.

Yates looks too strong. But the same could be said of his Giro performance at this point. Chapeau Thibault Pinot! Tuesday will be a big day to set up the final contenders.
