Latour? Because he had a great day only on Bales ? At Route du Sud ?
Bah. Future is on his side, but saying he will be the best on the mountains with people like Landa ,Anacona, Trofimov, Moreno ...

With the best is not exactly to be second , it is to be at one minute in Neila or something like that. He was with the best, Contador and Quintana, in Balés. But it wanst just a good day.

Kadri is a good rider that have won Roma maxima and one stage in 2013 Tour de France, and he can shine here, but he cant stay with the best in Neila, Latour can be close to the best.

I was wrong : i read ....he will be THE best ....instead of...he will be WITH the best.

So Ruben Fernandez as leader for Movistar for this? Interesting!
Winner is officially the leader, he is in great form after Tour, Ruben is a good rider, we will see how is he.

Yep, Winner was formidable on stage 18 and especially stage 20 in the Tour. Cosmo's narrative is good on his latest 'How the race was won', Anacona attacking 3 times on Croix de Fer and finally getting free on the descent, before pulling in 10 minutes at the Alp. After a relatively anonymous performance previously tho, but he crashed a few times early. Anyways - great first time (?) Tour for Anacona.

I remember Ruben from his pileup on the ascent this year. That was.. weird, but he showed some fantastic shape early on in the season, getting good results up until P-N in his first season. He was also riding with the very best at that particular climb. Curious to see what this second half will bring since he is a kinda big GC-talent, relatively, in Spain atm.

Also curious about how Quintana will perform on Neila. I kinda had expected a little bit more in the Giro form him after his showing last year in Austria, but Im confident that will come over time. Whats certain at this point tho is its no 'im good, but wait till you see my lilbrother".

Barbero is quickly establishing himself as a specialist in these kind of finishes. Great rider.

Moreno just misses out the win again. It's quite the story of his life the last 2 years.

Landa however is ready, just as Belda.

I was talking with Landa in the Hotel and it is amazing how thin he is in norrmal dress. He is the same guy than one year ago, I am happy about that.
I was surprised as well about Taaramae, I though he was serious, but he is really funny.

When I went with my bike on the cobblestones that are after the cathedral, about 2.5 km before the finish line, just in the street above the finish, I couldnt go more than 15 Km/h, or my bike broke, or I broke myself... I am curious to see if they can go with a normal TT bike at more than 40 over there, I know that at more speed less you feel the stones, it is like flying, but, it looks impossible.

Other streets are not so difficult, but it is Santiago s way and there is this shells in the middle:

(I put before a wrong picture)

They must remeber that after morning reckon.

The view is amazing in some parts of this TTT.

And about Vuelta?
You could not ''steal'' some info about his role? I would review the buffoonery of the Giro :p

I was talking with the mecanics, who are spanish, one of them is Oscar Pujol father, about that, but they didnt say anything: I said, I understand you didnt want to win the Giro, but I hope Vuelta yes, although the Vuelta is more difficult that to win Contador, with Quintana and if Froome came. :p

With Landa and more with Scarponi over there I am not going to talk about that.

The role is clear, he is going to left the team...Nibali is the boss, and Aru is much more important for the team. If Landa doesnt win here in Burgos he is going to work maybe from the begining. Other way if Aru and Nibali are weakers, who knows...I hope the team want to win the race.

In a stage as Andorrra, for me Landa is just weaker than Quintana, if he is ok, and if Quintana is tired form the Tour, who knows, but in the ITT of course Nibali is much better.

Nibali is of course much better, but he is no great TTer either. In fact i have no clue, at what place he is in his TTing. A couple of years ago i would rank him somewhere around Contador but now he is different. His climbing is a lot better and he doesn't fancy descends that much and his TT seem to slightly decline from the earlier years. His last good TT was in Giro '13 and it was a similar one to this years Giro TT. It's perfectly logical as the GTs he entered in last 2 years were mostly climbing based ones. TT in Vuelta is flat, 40km long. I would predict about Nibs getting a minute on Angelo and 2 to 3 minutes on Iban Mayo 2.0 if they will ride for themselves in Vuelta. Still i think i would prefer to be Haimaru Zubeldia-sennin than Mayo.
