Well no one wanted to make a thread so I had to. :)
Short-ish stage with a brutal finish, 11km @ roughly 8%.

L' Eliana

Sustainable, welcoming and with a broad cultural and festive offer, L’Eliana is above all a modern city. A cultural avant-garde that is well represented by a local band with a nationwide following: La Habitación Roja. Throughout its trajectory spanning more than two decades, the group has been one of the foremost exponents of Spain’s ‘indie’ music scene. Receiving La Vuelta for the very first time, L’Eliana hopes to experience ‘A perfect day’.

Observatorio Astrofísico de Javalambre

Located at a height of almost 2,000 metres, the Javalambre Astrophysics Observatory can be seen from the town of Arcos de las Salinas. This science centre, which has been operating for almost thirty years, is dedicated to mapping stars through the two telescopes that stand out in the area’s mountainous landscape. The Javalambre range in Teruel, where the observatory is located, is featuring in La Vuelta for the very first time. With its 12 kilometres and an average incline of 7%, it promises to be an exciting stage for enthusiasts and a tough one for a peloton that will be closer than ever to the stars.

I love this climbs profile. Love the views. I love that it's stage 5. I hope it delivers

Here's a video of the climb with Escartín and Delgado (English subtitles)

The next 5 days will be crucial with 4 MTF (altough tomorrow is quite easy). Pogacar ftw!

Last 5 km at over 10% is absolutely brutal. Time gaps will surely open up and er will get a pretty clear gc picture. No idea who is gonna win but pogacar would be massively cool

Not only that, but according to the profile by La Vuelta the steepest part is right at the start of the steep section, in the middle of the climb. All it takes is one team smashing all their domestiques to bits on the first half of the climb and it will be carnage

Pogacar may find this too tough - He hasn't indicated he's yet at the level of racing GC riders up a steep ramp in a Grand Tour - Maybe he'll surprise.

Not sure what Movistar tactics would be. But I would fully expect Astana to set up MAL for an attack. After losing precious time on day 2 he really needs to attack big time if he wants to win this race.

Big day to see if Aru is as back as he seemed to be on stage 2 too.

Should be an interesting last 5k’s. It won’t be won today, but one of the contenders could lose big time here if on a bad day.

Break of the day:
Jose Herrada, Bol e Madrazo.

The big boys to fight it out for the stage, great!
