Actually in the end gaps were much less than expected on such a brutal climb.

The stage was minus eleventy kilometers long and they held hands until 3.5 km to go.

That was the lamest Angliru yet. Was it wind or something? I am struggling to believe that 7 riders would be so evenly matched going all out.
