Primoz must have read the forum discussions regarding his reluctance to do long-range attacks and said "hold my beer!". It was surprising and exciting that the leader decided to make the race. It's so bad that he fell (again!) and wasn't rewarded for his attack. Hopefully it won't have an impact on his form (but we won't know until the weekend).

Haig seemed a bit frustrated at the finish. Not sure why. Another well taken stage by Storer. Ineos could probably use him in their latest version of the mountain train to nowhere.

Is Mas always so bad or was just very cautious today (thinking about GC). I don't remember it being a problem for him.
Uh has he even done any GTs with important descends?

He did lose time on both the Peyresourde and Marie Blanque stages last year but I can't remember if he got dropped on the climbs or downhill.

He pretty much stuck the landing. Thomas would have gone over the guardrail..............
It actually was very much like a skier losing their inside edge and having their skis go out from under them and then they end up sliding on their side or their butt. I would guess he’s very familiar with the sensation and doesn’t get too rattled by it.
So in other words, yes he is a better crasher than he is a descender.
