I think it's been a great stage so far, as great as one could possibly hope for. And that is thanks to DSM and BE.

But why are Matthews refusing to join the early breaks? Seems much easier than to sacrifice the whole team again and again.
I think he is far more likely to win the bunch sprint than from a break on a day like today.

I know UAE have a rider in front but if Trentin is in the main group, they've a better shot of winning with him than with Oliveira imo.

This stage feels like the one in 2007 Tour where Cancellara won, but this group is working way better.
