BEX helping Haig.
Lame.
Haig -so it should be a WhiskyHaig should buy Mader a beer after all this.
Wait, what's that - when I left everything was tidy and boring - I'm coming back and there's carnage.![]()
Right now they're riding through a forest on a rather narrow road, it looks nice.I read somewhere Pereiro designed this stage, fantastic both in terms of racing and views. When sunny Galiza is so spectacular.
MAL is already dead. They are riding defensively against Yates now.The gap to Gibbons is not going down rapidly, maybe Padun is not in great form?
Edit: This steep part will definitely spice up things
This is basically an admission that you did kidnap Padun briefly. You "went away", so no alibi...

The spectators and cars look so out of place in what looks like it would be a nice place to camp, hike, or go for a ride of course.Awesome climb!

I like Haig and you can't blame him or Bahrain but the way he's getting a podium is super dissatisfying for me (I don't think Yates overtakes him).
Basically gifted his GC position because of a breakaway and afterwards just had a monster Bahrain train to keep him up there benefitting from attacking moves of other riders. The fact that he's the winner because Yates and Bernal finally pulled a successfull 1-2 is a bit meh.
Reckon they are also helping Yates who is an ex BEX rider.
Nah Bernal attacked as well. It was Yates attack, then Bernal attack, then Yates attack and once Haig saw that there was a gap to Lopez he attacked/pulled strong to open it up.Don't think Bernal ever attacked today and it was Mäder or even Haig himself who instigated the big move today.
