I hope people got the joke, i.e. he was referencing the world championship TT in 2019 where Rohan Dennis won & passed Roglic on the line (despite the fact Roglic had started 3 minutes prior).
There's a photo of Dennis raising his arms as he crosses the line & a dejected Roglic is right next to him.
Alright, @Lequack! Over to you. I'm expecting lots of pictures of that pilgrim get-up.
Nice victory for Roglic, his 3rd Vuelta. First time he did not lose time on a final weekend in a GT.
Sadly, Bernal clearly wasn‘t at his best, all these three weeks.
Of course, Roglic now will try to win the Tour in 2022. Normally, it should be Roglic vs Bernal for 2nd place in the Tour 2022. Roglic will have problems beating Pogacar, in 2022, and also the years after: Pogacar is slightly stronger in the mountains, slightly stronger in the ITT, slightly stronger on the flats/in the sprints, and stronger concerning bike handling skills.
I have got a feeling that Pogacar will try to be the first to win six TdF, so Roglic might be too old when Pogacar turns his attention to Giro and Vuelta.
Nice palmares now for Roglic: three Vueltas, Olympic champion, second in the Tour, third in the Giro, stages in all GTs, and some nice victories more...
Guys the Vuelta is nice and all but I'm just so happy to talk Pog vs Rog the next 10 months.
Take some time to complain about the routesGuys the Vuelta is nice and all but I'm just so happy to talk Pog vs Rog the next 10 months.
Turns out, Carlos Canal won a nice model of some Cathedrals. Not entirely sure why...

I see something red with a yellow/golden aura and blue ellipses storming down the road. What could that be.
Hum.
