Grande Rogla!

Is there anything more delightful than seeing fat boy Bambi suffer in the heat?

Yeah, I think this might be the last climb where Evenepoel will have the upper hand.

While it's super steep, it's quite regular and of medium length (Yates did it in 15'17'' in 2018). Erlaitz was a bit similar at 11 %, and Evenepoel climbed it in 11'52'', so it's a good length for him.

^^From before the stage to Les Praeres.

Seesm remco could still pace ok on the less steep parts it seems. But Remco really worse, since all the others are not really changing position a lot.
Now the question becomes:

is it one bad day?
is it the beginning of the downward spiral? (but why now and not 2 days ago)
is it due to the crash? most likely has an effect, if yes tomorrow won't be a lot better.

Unpopular opinion but I dislike potential GC riders (e.g. Carapaz) dropping tons of time to then pubstomp 2nd tier climbers in the break.

It was pretty clear that he wouldn't be able to compete for a top spot in GC, plus he wasn't even the second/third strongest rider in his own team, so why should he have ridden differently?

Remco did well to keep the gap under a minute, but question is if the small crack gives the others false hope for tomorrow or if he is indeed wounded.
