That's how chaos begins... Just the tip of the iceberg ... :sunglasses: Riders all over the place, dwarfs, horses and good looking girls, it will be mayhem!! Ahh I also expect lots of beer!!

Those now mythical (first, second and third week) podium girls? :)

P.S. Do you have any spare rooms left in your mind? Wouldn't mind staying a night.

You could say the actual final climb is only 8.5 km. The GC action will probably be limited to that part. It's a prelude to tomorrow's queen stage.

The breakaway has a good chance. If this was a Hollywood film the stage would go to Valverde, Nibali or Pinot.

Nah, Hollywood still tends to make it relatively realistic (but still with someone hot, so Roglic would win).

Your stage story winner/s more has a Bollywood feel good fantasy about it.

My Bollywood prestage storylines:

Valverde needs to win a stage if he is to afford hair replacement surgery.
Nibali needs to win a stage if he is to afford VIP backstage ticket to see Roglic' trophy cabinet.
Pinot needs to win a stage if he is to afford to feed his family (of goats) through the next winter (after a tough drought).

All wonderful heart rendering storylines.

This can really be the decisive weekend, given the last week is easy by GT standards. If Remco doesn't show any weakness today or tomorrow it's almost game over for the rest (barring non-sporting reasons).

Crazy that Valverde won here 19 years ago.

The two riders in the frame behind Valverde retired in 2009 and 2005 respectively.

Meanwhile Juan Ajuso was celebrating his 1st birthday
And the guy who finished fourth is doing the ultra-mythical Maryland .Pro race tomorrow. I haven‘t even seen a profile of that race.

Why is UAE chasing De Gendt?!

Or are they just trying to prevent other breaks maybe

Edit: PCS had the reason
