UAE is trying to get back into the peloton according to the ticker.
It's because Vine tried to go in the break so they had to chase and then got dropped and now are trying to get back. But Soler and Ayuso got properly dropped I guess. Which should logically make the peleton go harder to drop Ayuso and Soler? Which could br why they still are dropped

But now they are back.

Break might be gone now. 8 riders, is controllable if a team wants to. Carapaz and Lutsenko in there as strongest riders.

The gap won't be growing too high.
The road inclines fairly soon.

The GC group has a good chance to fight for the stage.
...or someone from the bunch.

Crazy that Valverde won here 19 years ago.

Yeah, Alejandro is such a legend. If I remember well, Heras and Cardenas distanced him on the steeper sections but he bridged the gap on the easy section close to the line and obviously sprinted to the victory.

Yes, he was a bit behind them together with Oscar Sevilla until he caught them in the short descent

Olivares de Jaen impress me every year.
Grandiose agricultural project, just imagine all the work... from planting to the oil extraction.
