Velo D'or too I would think too with this and all the other stuff he's won

it's going to be close.

he could put it away if he betters pog and WvA at worlds, but that may be unlikely considering the vastly different prep. and if pog wins lombardy again... it's very close right now, but i feel like remco needs one more big victory to perhaps seal the deal.

a fantastic season no matter what for a 22 year old.

No way. Remco is nowhere near Pog and Jonas. He lost time in high mountains. 1minute to Roglic and Mas in different stages. If it was agains Pog or Jonas, or even Hindley of Giro, it would be 2/3minutes quite easily.
If he continues to develop he may enter that 1st tier, but not now.

Remco proves he can win grand tours. The future looks bright for some good battles with the younger grand tour winners and the other emerging young riders. The Giro riders warmed up in the latter half of the race.. Hindley looked like dropping down the classification but recovered fairly well and Carapaz killed it in the breaks for multiple stage wins. Three stage wins and the KOM is a good way for Carapaz to leave Ineos.
