Maybe Vingegaard was just better today. Kuss did struggle holding onto the wheel of the rider in front of him at some point.

If the situation had been reversed, and Vingegaard had been in the Jersey, with Kuss - probably - being the stronger on the day. Then I certainly hope Kuss would have attacked as well.

When it was far too late. It looked like the team employed the same tactics as the Tourmalet, but there Ayuso & Mas paced behind Jonas Vingegaard.

Once the bunch stopped here, they were screwed. Again, just look at how Fisher-Black & Michael Storer finished ahead of Kuss & Rog. This shows tactics played the main role in the size of the gap, despite certain handwaving going on here.

Both Rogla and Kuss were stronger than Vinge on Saturday stage but sit back and did not respond until last km.

I admit that Vinge looked much better today than on Saturday but I still have doubts that Vinge was teams only decision from a get go.

Exactly - This reminds me of the last stage of the Wonen's Itzulia - Vollering and Reusser were one two a long way ahead in GC - Reusser puts in a speculative attack on a group of seven and the rest sit up because they dont care if Vollering or Reusser wins the GC - Same thing applies in today's stage of the Vuelta when Vingegaard attacks - The other GC riders dont care who comes 1st or 2nd or third.
