Assuming Kuss does not have a bad finish today, Saturday could be interesting as lots of KOM points (Remco in the break), up and down all day and the rain is returning on Friday.
KOM points won't matter though as Remco has already secured the jersey, no?

The breakaway going for victory today. No fight for the stage among GC guys. Also no fight for top3 among non-JV riders. This is good news for Sepp: JV guys could finish together today.
Reading between the lines of the Plugge and Kuss interviews this morning, I think it's pretty clear that they've decided to keep it like this. Kuss will win the Vuelta, unless he has a complete collapse of course.

Strangely, a lot of people were afraid that they would do this, to simply stop racing. But they didn't. Look at how happy everyone is with that ;)

Cool. Has Jessie Diggins or Lizzie Deignan come out to say that they should ride for Sepp too? I'm playing bingo.

(note: it would be HILARIOUS if Lizzie Deignan was to say they should ride for Sepp given she's dedicated her career to being a selfish leader who almost never rides anything unless she gets sole leadership)

Being serious though, Thomas morally pontificating on what other teams should do is hardly a new thing, but I'm presuming he got asked a loaded question there.
Not taking sides o the issue but Gerait Thomas not sidelinig with Kuss would mean that his whole career choice was wrong.

Love this movie.

It was good.

Enjoyed watching Hinault neck a beer after Alpe d'Huez.
