I do think the organisers too the wrong circuit with how easy the climbs are. Circuit with the San Lorenzo Escorial climb would be much more brutal I think.

It's stage 20 and still a long way to go; a lot of tired legs and these climbs will add up.

That climb does not connect with anything in a circuit unless they add a long flat section.

You can use it in its own short circuit with that climb alone. I'd have a few of that in between two laps of the long circuit.

True..... hopefully he has that burst to attack and hasn't burnt himself out with so many breakaway attempts this Tour.

It's doubtful if many riders have spent as many kms in breakaways on the final week of a GT.

I expect remco to gift the win today to mattia cattaneo. Cattaneo worked really hard for remco in this la vuelta and sacrificed his own chances. Remco has already some stage wins, its only fair that they get distributed evenly among the team. So remco should drag cattaneo to the line and then no contest the sprint. Its the only morally justifiable outcome of the stage, and if it doesn't happen I will throw a tantrum at soudal quickstep on twitter and get all people from lombardy to join me. How can remco expect help from cattanoe in the future if he doesn't gift the stage here? You NEVER attack your teammate
