Vuelta a España Vuelta a España 2023, stage 4: Andorra la Vella - Tarragona (184.6k)

Nice 10 km long descent from the last climb to the sprint with bonus seconds - then another 20 km downhill until another sprint for more bonus seconds. What could possibly go wrong?! :) Hoping that a team drills it to wear out GC guys - it's a tailwind and downhill for Ch***ts sake!
Groves, Malano or an outsider if the break makes it (or QS lets the jersey go).

It becomes quite grating that we always have to hear so much preoccupation because of very benign things on a profile.

Stage has the potential to produce more action than one would think at first glance. Barely any sprint teams here, bonus seconds available, two climbs where at least the second isn't thaaat easy and the long soft downhill with cross-tailwind predicted. Last 40km could be quite carnage.

Will probably be a total nothingburger now.

Well, I could always pour 400 liters of oil on the road to liven things up!
"Apparently there has already been more drama. With four men arrested for allegedly planning on sabotaging the race by pouring 400 litres of cooking oil on the riders.

In a post on X (formerly Twitter), the local police said: "With this mechanism they intended to sabotage yesterday's stage of La Vuelta. Two drums with 400 litres of liquid that they intended to throw on the road as the peloton passed four people arrested red-handed in Lleida."

Maybe they are the same ones that also sabotaged this year's Tour Basque stages. Hope that they have to stay under house arrest to rethink their life choices.

Anyway, regarding the stage I will go with Coquard, he is usually really fast in uphill sprints
