Just bumped in.
Wide highways, endless high plateau apocalyptic landscapes, not happening much, apart from questionable split times to static situation, hearing heli going *flop-flop-flop* in the background.

Vuelta finally back to normal standards, your afternoon nap medicine. What's not to like?

Peloton apparently waking up as well now, only 27 secs between them and the breakaway at the mo. (When I first tuned in it was over a minute.)

Oh no, peloton falling back asleep again, now they are losing time to the break. Maybe I'll go and shower or do something else useful...

You can't get work done if you have sound on?
Well imagine if you were trying to get your work done, while being inside a wheel of fortune. All those (scary) numbers flying around you would probably be a major distraction. For Robert it's the same, just with sound instead.

Sadly, can't do two things at once.

Okay, I know men can't multitask, but (half) listening to something isn't that hard. I'm listening to the race while typing this.

I don't think I'd ever need to get my work done while inside a wheel of fortune, unless I needed to clean it.

Kirby going through a list of people who aren't going to sprint and mispronouncing half of them is all the motivation I need to switch this one off until 5k to go.
I think 5km to go is the magic number today... although the peloton is gaining time again. Is it for real this time?

Is this the multitasking multi-talent writing here.

Now working in my bike garage, simple manual tasks, while having La Vuelta in my earplugs and my tablet visible at my solid workshop table.

But a completely other ballgame speaking my payed work. Enough multi-tasking between breaking complex analysis* already, yet anothrr input between my ears and my brain would short out.

But ofcourse, cannot speak on behalf on others.

* ok situation for a short instant got a tad complex, camera out of focus. Think I'd better drop this multitasking and follow this exciting situation.

Then imagine, if you will, a world in which Esteban Chaves turns up at your job and starts making avant-garde drawings of bikes. I'm sure that would decrease your productivity.

I work with some weird people. I might give him some ideas, while continuing to clean. Then I'd start the vacuum cleaner, and he'd be the one unable to concentrate!
