Will never forget majka being totally baffled in his interview after being beaten for the win by totally unknown Spanish climber on la camperona in that stage a few years ago. Maybe Oscar rodrigues can cement his legacy with another dominant win today

You should never underestimate a Basque rider. He's also found some decent form this year, after that Giro crash hampered him last season.

Kern Pharma has been prominent or at least visible in most of the breakaways thus far. But I haven’t paid attention to which riders—or has it generally been the same guy?

I am amused about how all the "experts" thought this stage would go to Rogla.
Didn't three of them pick Mas?
to be fair, (in case we're talking about the Eurosport game) they get points for Top 10. So in case of a somewhat open day, point-wise it usually makes more sense to just pick Roglic than a random breakaway guy, like Voigt usually does. Who always ends up last for a reason.

Not sure why anyone would pick Mas over Roglic on a "sprint" stage like today's, though.

most days it was Castrillo, yeah - it's his 4th time up the road today. Yesterday Urko Berrade.
