It's a shame this breakaway doesn't have any GC threats in it. If Skjelmose had lost time on purpose yesterday, he could have won for his girlfriend today and ended up being around the same spot in GC afterwards.

This seems to be for the GC guys a training ride/spread the covid around love fest.
All calm on Spain's western front.
I now understand why all riders are kept there; the scenery is too pretty to waste on either covid or racing.

He'll have to just buy a gift for her. Which, honestly, I think she might prefer.
Yeah I never understood the idea of winning for children, wives and girlfriends, if the family ain't just an accessory.

"Here's my precious gift to you for being here; I will be busy with press and doping tests the rest of the day. See you when I lose".

They are paid to say stuff so they have to force something out of their mouths—commentator bulimia. But their director won’t be happy if they said that really nothing is going to happen on this stage and you needn’t bother watching.
Oh! Thanks for reminding me they're part of the show. I forgot. (literally, no joke)

That river is amazing!

Will never forget majka being completely baffled in his interview after being beaten for the win by totally unknown Spanish climber on la camperona in that stage a few years ago. Maybe Oscar rodrigues can cement his legacy with another dominant win today
